This is the problem as you say. Every primary school classroom should have a teacher aide working alongside the teacher, for starters.

Hi Dr Sarah,

I was keen to hear your thoughts about this. I agree, this unironically is focusing in the wrong thing.

Another thought I had was how so much funding that was allocated towards; school renovations, improvements in ventilation systems & building of more class rooms to accommodate growing populations have almost all been cut, with most school construction projects being halted indefinitely.

It is really sad that Teachers & Children have to put up with this.

Let’s not forget pay equity!

I also agree that moving furniture doesn’t touch the surface of the underlying issues. This is a good essay that provokes conversation. I miss our conversations!!!
